About the Interpreter

Ingrid began working at international conferences in Switzerland and the United States and high-level meetings at Palácio Quitandinha in Petrópolis. She has interpreted the Pan-American Games and Brazil’s Nuclear Agreement with Germany, has accompanied a number of heads of state on international trips, and was one of the founders of the Brazil-based Professional Association of Conference Interpreters (APIC). She is also a certified government translator for German and English.

Ingrid served as chairwoman of APIC for three terms (1984-1985, 1993-1994, 1995-1996) and as a member of the board of the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC), representing South America from 1996 to 2003.
