EIC was founded in 1974 by Brazilian interpreters who had studied in Switzerland at a school specializing in the type of simultaneous translation originally designed for the Nuremburg Trials that subsequently became the style of interpreting we are all familiar with today. Our aim at the time of our founding was, and continues to be, to provide first-rate, simultaneous translation services of unparalleled quality and professionalism.

Our partners have been providing exceptional interpreting services ever since, covering the broadest imaginable range of topics for government summits, congresses, conferences, seminars, symposiums, conventions, courses, executive meetings, video conferences, press conferences, satellite debates and negotiations.
