Tradução simultânea e consecutiva para a London Climate Action Week #LCAW2022, em Londres

Na semana passada, a intérprete e sócia do EIC, Patricia Pick, foi responsável pela tradução simultânea e consecutiva de eventos da London Climate Action Week #LCAW2022, em Londres. As conferências contaram com a presença da líder e ativista indígena Txai Suruí, que fez discurso durante a cerimônia de abertura da #COP26, a vice-prefeita de Londres para o Meio-Ambiente e Energia, Shirley Rodrigues, e representantes da Global Canopy e Greenpeace, entre outros. Os eventos aconteceram na Chatham House e Barbican Centre tiveram como foco iniciativas práticas contra a #mudançaclimática o desmatamento, garimpo ilegal, invasão de terras indígenas e proteção da Floresta Amazônica.

Last week, Patricia Pick, conference interpreter and partner at EIC, provided simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services at London Climate Action Week #LCAW2022 events that took place at Chatham House and The Barbican Centre. Speakers included Txai Suruí, the influential indigenous youth leader and activist who delivered a speech at the #COP26 opening ceremony and Shirley Rodrigues, Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy, London, as well as representatives from Greenpeace and Global Canopy. The events focused on finding practical solutions to #climatechange and covered topics such as deforestation, illegal gold mining, land grabbing and overall protection and conservation of the Amazon rainforest.
